DR. ALEKSANDRA G. BROWN, DO, FAAD
Dr. Brown is a board-certified dermatologist, specializing in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She attended medical school at Des Moines University in Iowa. Her dermatology residency training was done at Michigan State University, McLaren Oakland Hospital where she served as chief resident. Dr. Brown is widely published in many peer-reviewed articles in medical journals and has received numerous awards for her research and presentations. She is active as a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, and American Osteopathic Association. She also is proudly serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine as well as Clinical Faculty at Lewis Gale Montgomery Dermatology Residency. In the past, she has served on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Dermatology Society and spoken at dermatology annual meetings. In her free time, Dr. Brown enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.
