This promotes photo bio-stimulation, the process where a chain of chemical reactions is triggered by exposure to light. Primary photo-acceptors (which are activated by light) are located in the mitochondria and can convert light energy to electro-chemical energy. It is this energy that heals, repairs, builds collagen, increases cell turnover, and oxygenates the blood—and gives you an overall appearance of healthy skin.
